The use of various methods and tools to change the air of a closed environment is called ventilation. While it cleans the dirty air in the environment, it also allows the accumulated gases to be drawn off. It provides a healthy air environment for living beings.

It attracts bad odors and allows oxygen to enter the environment. It enables the outside air to change naturally with the inside air or by artificial means, it enables the inside to be transformed into a healthy environment by mechanical means. Ventilation by mechanical means is done by fans that suck the fresh air in closed compartments.

You probably live and work in some type of building and are not outside for the majority of your modern life. This means that the air surrounded by most of your time must be recycled and replaced to get rid of pollutants and unwanted particles. How does this happen? What do we rely on to stay healthy and free from harmful substances in the air we breathe? Ventilation is the transport of outside air to a building or a room and the distribution of air within the building or room. The purpose of ventilation in buildings is to provide healthy air for breathing by diluting the pollutants in the building and then removing the pollutants. Helps alleviate problems from airless bedrooms in commercial areas to Sick Building Syndrome. Adds the right amount of fresh air from outside to indoor air. Without ventilation, you will probably be comfortable and health problems will eventually bother you. In the best case scenario, there will be no clean air in your space, it will be stagnant and irritating and in a very bad condition, your air will trap toxins and pollutants that make people sick. Old buildings are more susceptible to outside air due to leaky ducts and poorly insulated walls, windows and doors. This is positive due to the fresh air, but negative because of the energy efficiency lost when your air conditioner runs more in the summer and the energy works harder in the winter. Building ventilation has three basic elements – ventilation rate, air flow direction, and air distribution or airflow pattern. There are three methods that can be used to ventilate a building – natural, mechanical, and hybrid ventilation. Natural forces direct outside air through purpose-built construction openings, including windows, doors, solar chimneys, wind towers and drip fans. This natural ventilation of buildings depends on the climate, building design and human behavior. Fans are a source of mechanical ventilation. Fans can be mounted directly to windows or walls, or installed in ducts to vent or take in a room. It also provides more control over how much outside air is added and the source of the air. Mechanical ventilation prevents the accumulation of odors, excessive moisture and pollutants in your living and working spaces. They can be removed from important areas for your homes in your kitchen and living room, but also from common areas such as restaurant kitchens, gyms, locker rooms and toilets. In terms of business, excessive moisture and odors can cost you dearly and cause worse problems such as damage to mold and furniture and equipment.
